A call to action: Build a fair, inclusive and sustainable community

In this curriculum, participants will:

• Learn more about what equity is and gain a deeper understanding of the root causes of inequities 
• Explore how an equity lens can help to better identify community needs and opportunities through community engagement 
• Learn how to apply an equity lens in planning, policy and process 

The purpose of this course is to reduce barriers for decision-makers to understanding and applying an equity lens to create more fair, inclusive and sustainable communities where all residents are able to prosper and participate.
